Source has space available for a variety of short-term functions including a black box theatre, rehearsal studio, classroom, conference room, and for long-term functions, like offices for small arts organizations and creative businesses. The black box theatre is suited for all performing arts disciplines, including theatre, music, dance, spoken-word and lectures. For independent theatre professionals and theatre patrons alike, Source is a place for innovative work that seeks to constantly enrich and challenge the DC community.

Source is fully accessible to patrons with special needs. It is highly recommended that the performing organization is contacted in advance to further assist patrons with special needs. A FM assisted listening device system is available for free to those with hearing disabilities on a first come first serve basis. Receivers and earpieces may be checked-out at the lobby desk for every performance.
